Glacier!!

Tuesday we entered Glacier National Park. We traveled the scenic Going-to-the-Sun Road and stopped at Logan Pass to hike. When we left the camper that morning, it was 52°F. By the time we got back we had taken all of our layers off. We hiked to Hidden Lake and along the way saw many mountain goats.

After Logan Pass we hiked to St. Mary Falls and Virginia Falls.

Wednesday we left Glacier National Park and headed into Waterton National Park, the Canadian half of the Glacier-Waterton International Peace Park. There we went on a short hike and then took a boat tour of the Upper Waterton Lake and crossed the USA border into Goat Haunt, which is only accessible by boat and hiking. Once we left Waterton we drove until we found a campsite.

Thursday we reentered the United States and took a hike around Swiftcurrent Lake and Lake Josephine in Glacier NP before getting on the road and driving for about 8 hours. After a hard time finding a campground, we finally found one and tomorrow we will continue on home!
